On Friday, November 17, 2023, we were alerted shortly after seven in the morning to support the emergency services. A medical emergency in the Nittenau area required the use of ECMO (heart-lung machine) and the expertise of the team from the University Hospital Regensburg, which was flown in by helicopter.
The rescue helicopter landed safely at the fairground, while our multipurpose vehicle served as a paramedic shuttle and delivered the necessary equipment to the scene. Additionally, we secured the take-off and landing of the rescue helicopter.
Our wish for a speedy recovery goes out to the individual affected.
