On March 18, 2024, at 12:03 p.m., the fire departments of Bergham and Nittenau were alerted to a traffic accident involving a car and a truck. After initial patient care by the Nittenau First Responder, a patient-oriented rescue of the car driver was carried out in coordination with the ambulance service. Using hydraulic rescue equipment from the fire departments, the vehicle doors and roof were removed. Subsequently, the patient could be handed over to the ambulance service in an axis-appropriate manner.
During the operation, the ST 2145 was completely closed.
