Despite the summer heat in July 2024, our active members kept a cool head and successfully handled a total of 14 missions.
Among them was a scooter fire on Jahnweg and an acute door opening, which later developed into an aerial ladder rescue. After a severe storm in the Regensburg district, we were called to assist in Kürn with our aerial ladder. There, we temporarily secured a roof with tarps. Unfortunately there was a fatal motorcycle accident in July.
Our dedicated First Responders were called out for a total of 36 missions, averaging at least one call per day.
Of course, alongside all the missions and tasks we face, camaraderie and fun must not be neglected. Therefore, we organized a barbecue evening in our fire department family with homemade burgers. Additionally, skill games with fire department equipment provided a welcome change of pace.
