During our open day on May 13, 2023, we were able to inspire numerous children to join the fire brigade.
After the welcoming speeches by our chairman, the fire chief of Nittenau City Fire Department, and the third mayor of Nittenau City, the children had the opportunity to go through various stations.
Here, they learned about the work of the fire brigade through games and fun activities. A "fashion show" and a display of firefighting vehicles left the children amazed.
At the same time, parents had the opportunity to learn more about us and the upcoming children's fire brigade.
We concluded the afternoon together with coffee and cake.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the active and young members of our fire brigade, especially the children's fire brigade team, for their dedicated support and organization of the open day.
A big thank you also goes to all the families who came to learn about our youth work.
You made this open day an unforgettable afternoon in the history of Nittenau Fire Department, and we would be delighted to welcome you again on July 7th for the establishment of our children's fire brigade.
