On Thursday, September 5th, 2024, children aged six to 14 had the opportunity to get to know the fire department during the taster day. At various stations, they demonstrated their skills. In a kind of "fashion show," they were introduced to the firefighters' protective clothing. A particular highlight was the grease fire explosion, which was not only impressive but also drew attention to the dangers of fires.
After all the excitement and effort, the participants had earned a well-deserved snack. The homemade fire department pizza was just the right treat.
It was another great holiday program, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
