With another 42 First Responder calls in September 2024, we too are feeling the steady increase in emergency medical service responses. At the beginning of September, the "Region der Lebensretter" app was launched in the Amberg integrated control center area. We have already experienced the benefits of this first responder app.
At the end of September, a resuscitation took place in the Nittenau urban area. We were able to quickly relieve the first responders on the scene and, together with them and the emergency medical service, successfully resuscitate the patient.

Our volunteer fire department was alerted to a total of 13 incidents last month. In addition to clearing several fallen trees from roads and paths, we secured the accident site twice following traffic accidents on the B16.
There were also three fires in September, where we assisted with our aerial ladder in Steinberg during a house fire.
As part of the Fire Department Action Week, we trained in Bruck alongside several neighboring departments on how to respond to a hazardous materials incident.
Highly trained and always ready, we’re here for you!
