The month of May was marked by numerous traffic accidents. At the beginning of the month, a severe truck accident occurred on the B16, which has already been reported in detail. Five more accidents followed by the end of the month, fortunately mostly resulting in minor injuries and property damage.
We were able to control and determine two fire alarm calls as false alarms. Additionally, we assisted the crew of Christoph Regensburg during their landing in Nittenau and supported the emergency services with our turntable ladder during a patient rescue.
Overall, we were on duty 13 times for you. To ensure we are always well-trained, we practiced using heavy equipment in traffic accidents, thanks to Autohaus Bock GmbH & Co. KG.
Besides operations and training, camaraderie should not be neglected. On Father's Day, the traditional Father's Day hike with a subsequent family afternoon took place.
Our First Responder unit provided targeted professional first aid in 33 incidents.
